The Quiz Test
posted by A.J @ 12:51 PMChannel 7 - 'The Rich List'

Unlike the slow-witted, garbage of a show 'Deal Or No Deal', The Rich List actually requires some form of skill. Teams of two outbid each other with how many answers they can guess on the list, back and forthing figures until one folds. They then guess all their answers and if so, win the round.
Merv Hughes' son wins big.
Pro: Not all crap, the basis of the show is alright and is mildly entertaining.
Con: Its so fucking slow its not funny. Roughly one question is answered per minute leaving the remaining 55 seconds for Andrew O'Keefe to run his mouth. Snore fest

Channel 9 - '1 v 100'

Eddies back! Regardless of how balls you think this show may be, Mr. McGuire returns to the airwaves, proving that CEO's of major companies do jack all. Like Millionaire, the contestant answers questions with Eddie and locks in his answer, only now 100 other people get to do the same thing. For every wrong answer the audience gets, the one contestant gains more dough.
Pro: Entertaining mostly. Its like watching a mass census undertake every time a questions answered and spotting out the dumb asses who 'press the wrong button' to hide the reality that they're all morons. Also the cash flows in nice and easy.
Con: The audience is so fucking stupid. Here was a question from last weeks episode:
Luke's father in the Star Wars saga was reveled as who:
A) Han Solo
B) Darth Vader
C) Yoda
Six people got it wrong. Six. You don't have to be a recreational handjob artist/star wars fanatic to know the answer to this riddle, yet six people in the fucking audience proved me wrong. I cant stand to watch this kind of stupidity, unbelievable

Channel 10 - 'The Contest'
Taken from Allistair Lattimore :
My thoughts exactly, boring as batshit. Bridge is a stunner as always, but sits in a backroom for 90% of the show where we cant see her, so the show really now has nothing going for it.Unfortunately, The ConTest cannot live up to it's lofty expectations; instead its a bunch of people answering questions and it doesn’t matter if they are right or wrong. At the end of each round, someone goes home without a lot of fuss and after a few rounds someone wins some cash.
1.5/5
So there you have it, make your choice and stick to it, because watching all these shows in one week simulates having your nut skin in a vice.
