Bring The Noise

Just yesterday, I was sitting a car discussing a million points in about twenty minutes when the topic of movies came along. I clearly pointed out that I havent seen a movie that's blown me away since the release of 'Sin City' and that everything passing through the cinema is total ass, giving me realisation that I may never witness a great film before I die.

Then I saw 'Hot Fuzz'

This was one of those films that looks dodgey in the trailer, but totally kicks ninja ass when it hits the big screen. The basic plot follows Nick Frost (Simon Pegg), a London police officer who is that damn good, that everyone in his department gets jealous and ships him off to Sanford, a town in the middle of nowhere. Of course nothing happens until people are been found 'accidentally' dead around the place and Angel must figure out how against a town that doesn't believe in murder.

Now I can pretty much frame this film for anyone who's seen 'Shaun Of The Dead'; its exactly the same, but a different storyline. So camera work, acting and of course humour are all top notch and will make you laugh just as hard. Even the gore's back, everyone that dies is bound to leave a mangled, bloody corpse.

See 'Hot Fuzz' now before it withers away and dies because douchebags are watching Tim Allen and Travolta riding around on motorcycles, with Martin Lawrence making black phrases funny for the millionth time and William H. Macey just looking like a dumbass.
